Spirit and Materiality

The exhibition Spirit and Materiality offers profound insight into Jónsson’s creative vision. Visitors can also wander through the sculpture garden behind the museum. There, 26 bronze casts of his works are set throughout a lush, tranquil garden that is open to everyone year-round, day and night. Inside the museum, visitors can also explore the remarkable preserved apartment of Einar and Anna Jónsson, where their original style and personal belongings remain intact.
