Quality Time for Seniors

An expert-led tour of the exhibition Some New Works. The exhibition features a selection of works that have either recently been acquired by the National Gallery´s acquisitions committee, or donated to the museum. The exhibition reflects the variance in works that characterizes outstanding Icelandic contemporary art. The selection criteria for Some New Works was the dominant theme of Icelandic landscape in the work of different generations of artists. The works demonstrate the use of a variety of mediums.
