The National Gallery

Pari Stave, head curator at the National Gallery of Iceland, leads a conversation with Inuk Silis Høegh and Jacob Kirkegaard about The Green Land (2021).

The Green Land was filmed in and around Nuuk and Maniitsoq in Greenland. The work is a visual meditation on a landscape that is at once untouched and unstable due to human intervention and climate change. The film is accompanied by a soundscape by Danish sound artist Jacob Kirkegaard.

Following the conversation, Erik Vilstrup Lorenzen, the Danish Ambassador to Iceland, will officially open the exhibition at 5 pm.
