Research Library

The National Gallery's research-library emphasises the preservation and dissemination of material related to the Gallery's areas of research, i.e. Icelandic visual art. The research-library contains books, catalogues and a collection of clippings on Icelandic art from newspapers and magazines, as well as a collection of digital images of works of art in the Gallery's collection.

The research-library is located in the National Gallery's office building at Laufásvegur 12, 101 Reykjavík.

The research-library is open by appointment.
